Amber Brown
Amber Brown was born in a small town just outside London, Ontario. From a young age, she was very drawn to the arts. As she grew older, this curiosity continued to grow as well. She was very active in the arts programs at her high school which then lead her to attend Brock university where she received an Honours Bachelor of Arts, Studio Arts in 2017. It was there that she truly discovered her love for acrylic painting, a fascination for non-representational abstraction and the idea of individuals being able to look at an art piece and discover hidden images or emotions within the painting. After completing her education at Brock, she then continued her studies at Sheridan graduating from their Art Fundamentals program with honours in 2020, followed by Sheridan’s Visual and Creative Arts program, with honours, in 2021.
Brown is currently pursuing Sheridan’s Craft and Design degree with a major in textiles and is excited to see how this new educational experience can influence her artistic practice in the future.
