Annemarie's paintings have been exhibited in various galleries in Southern Ontario. The most recent exhibitions were "Flower" at the Westland Gallery, Wortley Village; a joint show with sculptor Floyd Elzinga called "From Tree to Seed" at Earls Court Gallery, Hamilton; the London Artists' Studio Tour and collection of Iceberg paintings at Neddie's Harbour In, Gros Morne NP, Newfoundland.
Annemarie's focus is colour and her paintings are about putting the moment down in colour. She often paints from life, where the colours are more varied and the emotional connection is stronger. She paints plein aire whenever possible, which includes the challenge of gathering "real" colours, braving the elements and painting against the clock, to finish a painting before the light colours change completely.
