About the Artist:

Kim Ferreira has been painting in oils for over twenty years. A formally trained artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of New Hampshire, Kim lives and works in Portsmouth, NH with her family. Recently, her work has focused on animals doing human things, specifically the things she loves. She has created over 300 paintings in this series called 'Joie de Vivre', the french term used to describe the exuberant enjoyment of life.
