"It takes a lot of focus to see what lurks in the sand or grass underwater. Finding skates isn't easy because they cover themselves with sand, leaving only the tip of a tail or wing exposed. I still have fun looking into this painting and finding the variety of fish blending into their liquid world." - Bonnie Richardson
