Beth Stewart

Beth moved to London in 1977 after graduating from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts) and a Bachelor of Education (Visual Arts and English). She later attended Western University where she earned a Diploma in Art Therapy.

Beth's primary media is coloured pencil which she enjoys for its controllability and versatility. For Beth, art is a way to preserve and admire various bits of life. She draws birds, because she is fascinated by their tenacity, colour, and antics. Beth also draws frogs and objects that she collects. More of her work can be seen at: www.bethstewart.ca

In addition to working as an artist, Beth also teaches and writes. She is a secondary school teacher with the Thames Valley District School Board.
