Lions: Guardians of the Garden

"Watercolours of the gardens which surround me have often been a frequent subject over the decades. My watercolours are spontaneous and offer a glimpse of the garden at different times of the year. These gardens were planted by Ron Benner and there are numerous kinds of trees planted including Sycamore, Magnolia, Sumac, and Walnut trees which grow abundantly in this area. Two concrete cast lions were bought from a local artisan and are placed in relation to the flowering Syrian Hibiscus Tree."
