Kurt Fisher was introduced to the world of glass after attending a stained glass workshop in the fall of 2000. He found himself interested in the medium and the hands-on aspect of the craft. Kurt began a flame-working apprenticeship in the fall of 2000. Since then he has owned and operated two flame-working studios and managed the Canadian branch of an American production facility.
The desire to learn culminated with his 2009 enrollment in the Sheridan College School of Craft and Design where he further developed a personal aesthetic and broadened his technical abilities with a primary focus on functional design.
