Ross Bishop

Abstract Non-Objective Painter

Born in North Bay, Ontario in 1956 and graduated from the University of Guelph, B.Sc. (H.K.) in 1979 and in that year moved London.  Although having a science background, his appreciation always existed for the aesthetics of movement and colour.

"To me, abstract painting is introspective, which the interested viewer must let the painting communicate. It may be an instantaneous communication or it may take time. Tat is to say, there are no easily recognized life lines to grasp for simple understanding."

Ross's work has been exhibited in galleries in London, Toronto and Montreal.
