Ed Pien is a Taiwanese-born Canadian artist with an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts from Western University and a Master of Fine Arts from York University. He has presented his work widely in venues including the Drawing Center in New York, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and the National Gallery of Canada. His work has also been featured in numerous international biennials, such as those in Montreal, Sydney, Moscow, Beijing, Curitiba, Asunción, and most recently, the 15th Havana Biennial. Pien's art is found in various museums, institutions and private collections. He is represented by Birch Contemporary, Pierre-François Ouellette Art Contemporain in Montreal, Trépanier Baer Gallery in Calgary, and Galerie Maurits van de Laar in The Hague.
