Folio of Notecards - J.E.H. MacDonald

Regular price $14.00
J.E.H. MacDonald, with Lawren S. Harris and a handful of other Canadian artists, came to be known as the Group of Seven. Collectively these like-minded artists agreed: Canada's rugged wilderness regions needed to be recorded in a distinctive painting style. Today, these men are among Canada's most famous artists, and for many, their works have come to symbolize what is the distinctly Canadian identity. Among MacDonald’s most accomplished works are landscapes of the wild and scenic Algoma, Ontario, region.

Contains five each of the following notecards:
Forest Wilderness, 1921
Algoma Waterfall, 1920
