"Light Comes After Dark was born out of deeply personal journey to recover my health. For a while year, I had no energy to paint, and wondered if I would ever pick up a brush again. That is when I contemplated switching from acrylic to oils. Oils, by their nature, take a long time to dry. I am thrilled to say I am loving my oil painting journey. It give me the "slow" I need. During that dark time, I clung to my faith, ever believing that light, indeed, comes after the dark." - Bonnie Richardson
