Making Our Mark To End Racism
LUSO Community Services is a non-profit multicultural neighbourhood resource centre dedicated to promoting inclusiveness, well-being and the prosperity of the London community. Each year, they host a video contest to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
Blessed Carlo Acutis was a 2021 winner and used their prize to create a book on anti-racism called Making Our Mark To End Racism.
For those efforts, Blessed Carlo Acutis was awarded the first Steve Mavers Award. This award honours Steve, a valued friend of the LUSO Community and past Curator of Education at Museum London, who passed away in 2021. Recipients of the award strongly exhibit three criteria: inclusivity; community building; and providing the opportunity for continued learning.
Shop Museum London is proud to offer Making Our Mark To End Racism for a $10 donation, with all donations going to Blessed Carlo Acutis.
